Hi, I’m Lisa Connell. In 2006 I was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, a life changing moment that led me to dedicate my life to raising awareness and support for brain tumour causes. I am a Patron of Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity and a high profile supporter of The Brain Tumour Charity, using my voice to highlight the reality of living with a condition that can affect anyone at any age. I also founded the platform InfluentialStars.org to give people with a BIG heart the opportunity to turn their influence into meaningful support for charitable causes across the UK. Through my own campaigns and prize draws on the platform, I personally support brain tumour related causes including research and care, while also taking on as many FIT List challenges as possible alongside my miracle daughter Ruby, creating unforgettable memories together while helping others at the same time. With the incredible support of #TeamConnell, my mission is simple: to turn my story into purpose and continue helping others wherever I can.
