MindOut is a mental health service run by and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer (LGBTQ+) individuals, committed to enhancing the mental health and wellbeing of all LGBTQ+ communities. Recognising the unique challenges faced by these communities, MindOut offers a range of services designed to provide support and foster a sense of belonging.
Their services include advocacy, counselling, peer support groups, suicide prevention initiatives, and online chat support, all tailored to meet the specific needs of LGBTQ+ individuals. These services are delivered by a team of professionals who share lived experiences, ensuring a compassionate and understanding approach.
